Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
notionology ("we," "us," or "our") helps businesses design and build custom Notion workspaces. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit notionology.com or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this deliberately plain, because you shouldn't need a law degree to understand what happens to your data.
Who we are
notionology is a Notion consulting agency founded by Molly Jones. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can reach us any time at hello@notionology.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run our business and serve you well:
- Information you give us. When you book a discovery call, apply to work with us, or email us, we collect details like your name, email address, company, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device, country, and pages viewed, to understand how the site is used and improve it. We do this with privacy-friendly analytics that does not use cookies and does not identify you as an individual.
- Project information. If we work together, we may access information you share with us to build your workspace. That data stays yours, and we treat it as confidential.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and schedule calls
- Deliver, maintain, and improve our services
- Send you information you've asked for, such as proposals or occasional updates you've opted into
- Understand how our site performs and make it better
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information. Ever.
How we share information
We only share your information in a few limited situations: with trusted service providers who help us operate (such as scheduling, email, and analytics tools), when required by law, or with your consent. Any provider we use is expected to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
Cookies
This site does not use cookies. We measure visits with Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts pages viewed without cookies and without collecting personal information, so there is nothing here for you to accept or turn off. If you follow a link to another service, such as our booking page or our newsletter provider, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as required by law. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, just email us at hello@notionology.com and we'll take care of it.
International visitors
We operate globally and may process your information in countries other than your own. Wherever it's processed, we apply the protections described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
